Merry Late Christmas!

(I apologize for the unoriginal title!)


How was your Christmas? Mine was great! I spent it with my parents, sister, and grandparents.

On Christmas Eve Eve, we went to see the snow in Celebration(yes, they have a fake snowfall every night, it's pretty cool!) which my grandparents had never done. We got pizza there and watched the snow.

On Christmas Eve, we spent the night roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire, which was very nice, and Christmas-y:)

We actually slept in on Christmas morning, we didn't end up getting up til nine O'clock. We all exchanged gifts, and it was as fun as usual:) Me and Mina got Allstar Weekend tickets, which we had heard we were getting about a month ago(can't wait for February 9th!!!) from our parents, and I also got(from them) two Allstar Weekend shirts, Pirates of the Caribbean 4 on DVD, and lots and lots of candy!

Feather Clips

I'm in love with the new trend, feather extensions! I think they are so pretty, and it's also a lot of fun, and very easy to make your own feather clips, so you can rock these pretty feathers without getting an extension!


Here's what you will need:

Obviously you will need feathers, even though they can be pricey, I really recommend real feathers, they look so much more authentic. They can be found at craft and specialty stores.

But, if you want to go for a more whimsical, fun type look, or you don't have real feathers, you can use the fake, dyed kind that can be found in any store that sells craft supplies.

You will also need scissors and any kind of thin string.

  

Lastly, you will need bobby pins.

             Pick out as many feathers of whatever colors you want(I would recommend three feathers at the most to make them look like real extensions, and make sure to coordinate your colors) and take your string, and wrap and knot it around all your feathers several times. Then cut about 3 or 4 inches off the string, and take one side of the string and pull it through the inside of the bobby pin, then take the other side, and tie it to the bobby pin until it is tight.

You can make tons of cool color combinations!


Just slide the bobby pin in your hair, and Voila! You have your own feather extension clip!

Alrighty, yesterday, I told ya'll I would post some pictures of my new shoes, jacket, and backpack. So here they are!

Here are my super cute new shoes that I am in love with! They are heeled with a large bow on the side, a cool flower print, and they are peep toed:)

 Here's the front of my new jacket, it has silver buttons, red stitching, and studs.

An here is the back! Cool design and more studs!

I put the shoes and the jacket together with a cool T-shirt and checkered skirt I had to make a cool outfit. And yup, that's my pup in the back of the second pic:)

And here is my super cute zebra print, peace sign patchwork backpack my parents got for me! It will come in handy for holding my stuff at Disney World.

Here's what's been up:

1. So, ready for some super exciting news?(Well, for me!) December 10th Kicking Daisies are coming back to Florida, and I talked to Ben Spremulli from the band, and yup, we're are definitely doing an interview! :D Boo-yah:) I'll let you know when I get more details figured out, all I know as of now, is Ben said that I should get in contact with their manager and ask them to find a private place for us to do the interview, so I did and I'm waiting for a reply. News coming soon!

2. I got the cutest new shoes today, short, heeled peep-toe boots for $15! I will try to post pics soon!


3. Yesterday, my parents bought me this super cute cloth backpack that I had my eye on for awhile! I'll also get some pics of that for ya;)


4. I watched the Phineas and Ferb movie last night, so good! I love Perry<3


5. I bought a really cool jacket for only $3 at Burkes Outlet a couple days ago! It's black with red stitching and silver studs! Pics coming soon:D (Hmm, I've been finding good deals all over the place, huh?)
