I Need Your Help, Guys!

My friends Kicking Daisies are in a new Ring Pop competition, and if they win they get their own flavor of Ring Pop released! They're up against some pretty popular bands, though, so I was wondering; do any of you have facebook accounts? If so, it would mean a lot to me and them if you would go vote for them at facebook.com/ringpop .

Thanks so much guys!

Hooray For Being Tagged :)

I've been tagged by Abby! Thanks Abby! Weeeeee :)

Here are the rules:

1) post these rules
2) you must post 11 random things about yourslef
3) answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post
4) create 11 new questions for the people you tag to answer
5) go to their blog and tell them they've been tagged

Random things, are you ready?!

1. If I had to pick only one meat to eat for the rest of my life it would probably be chicken. I'm obsessed with it, fried, baked, grilled, any way. Yum.
2. I really like the Penguins of Madagascar. King Julien and Mort are my favorite characters, they make me laugh so hard :D
3. I've really been into this new band called Before You Exit lately. I listen to them while I'm doing my GED prep work :P They're from Orlando, so I knew I had to give them a shot ;) I'll be seeing them with Allstar Weekend in February!
4. I kinda have a thing for lead singers in bands...;) heehee
5. This is gonna sound completely retarded, but while living in a mobile home for a few years, I discovered I absolutely LOVE the smell of air coming out of floor air vents.(Only you, Mina, gets what I'm sayin'!)
6. I also love the smell of bleach, paint, nail polish, and gas. All very bad things to sniff, too. I'm odd.
7. I used to think Twitter was the stupidest thing ever, and would make fun of it, but now I sorta love it. It's super useful to talking to friends that are far away...
8. I'm freaky about eyeliner. I won't leave the house without it.
9. I've had red streaks in my hair before, and soon I think I'd like to get a blue or pink streak. Whatcha guys think?
10. When I go to bed, I'm usually not going to sleep. I'll usually get on my phone and talk to people on Twitter, and after that, I'll lay awake and make up stories in my head.
11. I love mechanical pencils. Like, just typing "mechanical pencil" made me wanna go grab one and start writing something.

Now for my questions from Abby, the tagger:

1. Are you scared of flying in airplanes? YES. According to the doctor, my ear drum almost burst open on the one and only time I ever flew on a plane. *shivers*
2.  Do you know anyone that doesn't like chocolate? Hhhhm, I'm not sure if I know anyone that really "dislikes" it, though my friend isn't fond of it.
3. Do you have a favorite style of hat? Yes..
4. If so, what is it? For me to wear, I like fedoras. A lot.
5. Red hair or brown? On guys, I like brown(or blonde!!!) but for girls, I don't think I could choose!
6. Owls or bats? Owls! Bats freak me out.
7. Purple or green? Purple.
8. Would you like to be taller than you are now? Yes, being super-model tall would be cool :) But, I think I've stopped growing.
9. Whats your least favorite color? Brown seems kinda obvious so...maybe orange?
10. Would you like a pet elephant? Yes, though I wouldn't like to clean up after it...
11.Is a cat relative equals to a orange guinea pig? Hmmmmmmmmm...thats deep.

My questions are:

What is your favorite TV show that isn't airing anymore?

What's your favorite candy?

Would you ever marry someone 20+ years older than you?

Which do you like to shop for more; clothes or shoes?

Have you ever ridden a horse?

Do you like watching game shows?

Chocolate or vanilla?

Whats your favorite video game system?

Bike riding or walking?

Texting or typing?

What's your favorite website?

I tag all of my followers that haven't already taken this tag! I'll go to your blogs seperately and tell you as well :)

Late New Year Greetings

Happy Late New Year everyone! Sorry I'm so late on this post, I haven't gotten the chance to get on the internet for a long time(yes, yes, I'm a lame person with no internet at my house, with the exception of my cell phone which doesn't allow me to make good blog posts. Whatever.) but here I am finally!

Even though I'm more of a look ahead, not behind, type of person, this post, rather than talk about expectations and resoloutions for the future that'll probably never work out, I wanna talk about my quite eventful, quite topsy-turvy 2011.

First off, I switched houses at the beginning of the year. That was quite different. Me and my family had our own house in 2010, but now we live with my grandparents in their 2 bedroom house. Last year was so crazy as far as our location. We talked about moving everywhere you can imagine(which I really wouldn't have wanted) but we're(luckily for me) still in our normal town, with my grandparents. It may be cramped, but I love my family more than anything, so it's not as hard as it would be for some families, and I'm lucky and thankful to have somewhere to live at all. God has been very good to us.

2011 was a really hard year for me, because of the fact we lived in North Carolina for over 5 months. It was not fun, to say the least. I was away from my home, my friends, and everyone I know with the exception of my parents and my sister. I hated it and wished the whole time that I was home. That was definitely the worst thing about 2011. All I could think about was how much time I was wasting there, and what I could be doing if I were home.

With all the free time I had in NC, I did a lot of planning and scheming(those are things I'm very good at), and by the time we got home, I was featured in one of my favorite magazines, and set to interview my favorite band for my fan blog.(At least I got something accomplished ;)

I had sent a story to my favorite magazine, M Magazine's email just for fun, and a few days later they contacted me and told me I was going to be in their magazine, along with my sister and friend. By the time I was back in Florida, our issue was out, and I was super excited. It was kinda surreal seeing myself in a nationally famous teen magazine, on stands in Walmart and such. It was my first time in a magazine, so it was a big deal for me.

The biggest hilight of 2011, and actually of my whole life, was meeting and interviewing one of my favorite bands, Kicking Daisies. While in NC, I talked back and forth with Ben, from the band, and the bands tour manager, until I somehow managed to get an interview for me and my sisters fan blog. I had interviewed them via email before, and had talked to them several times online, but this was huge and undescribably exciting for me(music is sorta my life). Meeting them and interviewing them was such an honor and a pleasure. They are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and so down-to-earth. We're now good friends, and we talk so much now. They are so, so awesome and I would love to get to hang out again soon. <3 Their concert was as amazing as ever as well.

Other cool concerts I went to were Trans-Siberian Orchestra(just...wow they're amazing!) and Night Ranger(my favorite classic rock group). And also I'm so stoked, cause me and my sister got Allstar Weekend tickets for Christmas from our parents. YAY:D Can't wait for February 9th!!!

Oh, almost forgot, my mom's dream came true in 2011(LOL, mom!) cause me, her, and Mina met her favorite TV star, Daniel Curtis Lee, who plays Kojo in Zeke and Luther, at Epcot while he was there filming a commercial. He was really, really nice, down-to-earth, and cool. So yay, I met a TV star last year as well :)

What was good and bad about your year? COMMENT:)
