Accomplishments

When a new year starts, I think a lot about what I would like to accomplish, how I would like to change myself to become a better person. I guess you could call it new year's resolutions, although I've never really thought of it like that. Well, come to think of it, I'm constantly trying to accomplish things during the year too.

I thought I would share with you some of the things that I want to do this year.


I want to write more stories. Well, correction, I want to FINISH more stories. I love writing short stories, but I never get around to finishing them. I've started so many writing projects that I haven't finished, so this year my goal is to write 5 short stories in full. (I thought I would keep expectations low so I might actually succeed, lol:D) If I do end up doing this, I will post them on my blog so you can read them.


I want to write more songs. Writing music is something I've always loved, but lately I've been so busy I haven't found the time to sit down and write. I sometimes wait for an inspiration to strike, or other times I just go ahead and write. I'd really like to write 5 more songs this year, because music is special to me, and writing is also special to me.


An obvious goal this year is to get my learners permit! I can't wait for that!


The farthest I've ever ridden on my bike is 18 miles, and my next goal is to beat that! I want to ride over 20 miles on my bike this year, that would be really cool! I love getting exercise, and this would be a perfect way to exercise! I do ride my bike everyday, but I want a challenge! Who's with me?


And lastly, I want to make my youtube(youtube.com/minaandmarellecole) really awesome! I want to document me and my sisters lives and post it on youtube weekly! We get to do so many cool things, like going to Disney world, and I would love for everyone to get to see that! I also want to film all of the goofy things that we do with our friends to share as well, because life as a teen is short, so we need to make the most of it and be able to remember every moment!

Lot's Of News (Good and Bad)

Hello People Of The Internet;)


Well, my birthday came and went, and it was fun, we went to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, which was a lot of fun for a pirate freak like me, although it was kinda hard to feel the Caribbean vibe in the forty degree weather;)


We had to postpone my Alice in Wonderland themed B-day party because I got some weird 24 hour thing the day of, but that will be happening next week.


Okay, here's the bad news...
we are moving.

Well, it's not super traumatic, it's only three blocks away from where we live now, but it's still a pretty big deal. There are a couple reasons for it, the main one being that our Uncle Nate and Aunt Charlotte need a place to live and they are paying us to live in our house. We will be moving in with my grandparents, which is kinda annoying because their house is pretty small for all of us, and part of the time we will have to live in their garage(that my dad wants to fix up). but if you wanna know the truth of the matter, I'm not happy about it at all. It may seem selfish, but I really would like to stay in a house of our own, with my own room and such. But I don't really have much of a choice in the matter, and anyway it's gonna be best for everyone else, so I just have to pray that everything will work out.


Please pray for me and my family.

Bike Trail

Even though it's the middle of winter, here in FL it's been so perfect out, very good for taking long walks and bike rides on our local bike trail. These pictures are from a couple days ago when me, Mina, and Tori went for a walk on the bike trail with our dogs Bing and Belle, and Tori's dog Brittany. I wanted to get some pictures from the goat pen, but the goats weren't out when I went up there, so maybe I'll get some pics of them later.

I couldn't really think of any whole stories that I wrote when I was young, so I thought I would post this song that I wrote when I was about 11, me, Mina, and my cousins Kendra and Mackenzie were having a contest, you were supposed to see who could write the best Christian song in five minutes, and this was mine:

Prayers; and a movie

Hello everyone, how has life been for you?


I wanted to ask you to pray for my dad, his back has been hurting him, and yesterday when he was out in the woods he threw something and threw it out, and also hurt his leg really bad, now he's having some kind of a muscle control problem in his leg(I don't really know the technical name) he finally got out of bed today, but his leg is still hurting him and he's having a little trouble walking, so please pray for him to feel better.


Also, if you could pray for my other family, that would be great too, my mothers granny just died of cancer and her and my papaw are kinda depressed right now, so yeah, thanks.


Anyway, while all of this was going on yesterday, I was at a movie in The Villages, some of our good friends took me and Mina to see "Tangled" and it was really good! I would really recommend that you go to see it.
